Privacy Policy

Last updated September 2, 2026.

This policy explains what data Rankazo collects, why, and who we share it with. It applies to rankazo.com and the Rankazo dashboard.

1. What we collect

Account information

Your email address and password (stored as a one-way hash, never in plain text) when you sign up.

Signing in with Google

If you sign up or log in using "Sign in with Google," Google shares your name, email address, and profile picture with us so we can create and identify your account — we never see or store your Google password. We use this information only to run your Rankazo account (identification, login, and account-related email) and do not use it for advertising. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Etsy shop data (only if you connect your shop)

When you connect your Etsy shop, Etsy asks you to authorize Rankazo directly (OAuth) — we never see or store your Etsy password. With your authorization, we access and store: your shop's listings (titles, tags, descriptions, prices, images metadata), order and payment-ledger data needed for real revenue/fee reporting, and shop-level stats (favorites, reviews). We request only the specific Etsy API permission scopes each feature needs.

Usage data

Which tools you use and how often, so we can enforce plan limits and improve the Service. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers on rankazo.com.

Payment information

We do not process or store your card details ourselves. Paid plans are billed through a third-party payment processor, who handles your payment details directly under their own privacy policy.

2. How we use your data

  • To provide the Service — generating listing optimizations, grades, and shop analytics from your real Etsy data.
  • To send you account-related email (password resets, plan confirmations) and, only if you opt in at signup, our own product newsletter.
  • To enforce plan usage limits and prevent abuse of shared infrastructure.
  • To improve the Service — we do not sell your data, and we do not use your shop data to train third-party AI models beyond the single request needed to serve your feature.

3. Who we share data with

We use the following service providers to run Rankazo. Each processes only what's needed to perform their function for us:

  • Etsy, Inc. — the source of your shop data, accessed via Etsy's official Open API with your authorization.
  • Google — provides "Sign in with Google," if you choose to use it, sharing your name, email, and profile picture with us to create your account.
  • Supabase — our database and account-login provider; stores your account and shop data securely.
  • Anthropic — powers the AI that writes listing optimizations and generates insights. Only the specific listing/shop data relevant to that request is sent.
  • Resend — sends transactional email (password resets, plan confirmations) and, if you opt in, our newsletter, on our behalf.
  • Vercel — hosts the Rankazo website and application.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties, and we do not share your Etsy shop data with anyone beyond what's listed here.

4. Data retention

We keep your account and connected shop data for as long as your account is active. If you disconnect your Etsy shop, we stop pulling new data from Etsy but may retain previously-fetched data for a reasonable period in case you reconnect. If you delete your account, we delete your personal account data; some anonymized or aggregated data (for example, the shared keyword-research corpus, which is not tied to any individual seller) may be retained.

5. Your rights

You can access, correct, or delete your account data at any time by contacting us. You can disconnect your Etsy shop at any time from your dashboard, which revokes Rankazo's access to your Etsy account going forward. You can unsubscribe from any newsletter or marketing email via the link in that email.

6. Security

Etsy access tokens are stored encrypted, not in plain text. Passwords are stored as one-way hashes. We use industry-standard providers (Supabase, Vercel) that maintain their own security certifications for infrastructure we build on top of.

7. Changes to this policy

If we make a material change to this policy, we'll notify active account holders by email before it takes effect.
